Customers positive about idea of "Rīgas satiksme" to send reminders that they need to extend their status to enjoy discounts in public transport
72 % of respondents in total admitted that such a reminder would make their everyday life easier, 3% confessed that they use to forget about the need to extend their status of public transport passenger which entitles them to discounts, and another 3% believe that it would be a nice initiative of the public transport company.
Only 3% said they did not want to receive a reminder as they regularly follow information about the need to extend the passenger’s status.
19% of the respondents pointed out that they do not belong to the target audience of this service and therefore have no need to extend their status.
The opinion poll, which was held in September, involved more than 2200 "Rīgas satiksme" website visitors.
It should be reminded that in September mobile customer service centres of "Rīgas satiksme" visited all comprehensive schools and higher education institutions located in Riga, where the status of e-ticket user was extended by 13806 pupils and 1869 teachers, as well as 14569 students.
In September, the website of "Rīgas satiksme" was visited more than 680 000 times, but information about transport news was searched almost 2 million times. Information about public transport schedules at http://saraksti.rigassatiksme.lv was requested more than 5 million times.
